About This Package

FSSAI Registration is granted to a manufacturer of edible products or restaurant (collectively called FBO) having turnover less than Rs 12 Lakhs. For Turnover above 12 Lakhs, FBO has to take license under FSSAI Act and simple registration would not be sufficient.
FSSAI registration, once granted, shall be valid for the period opted at the time of making an application. The FBO may opt for a validity period from one year to five years. On successful grant of FSSAI registration, the Registering Authority shall issue the FSSAI Registration Certificate with FSSAI number which the FBO has to display over all packaging of edible products. The FSSAI registration certificate has also to be displayed by the FBO at a conspicuous place within the premises of the FBO.
