About this service
Most debtors who ignore reminders respond to a notice, because a notice is what comes before a case.
A recovery notice is a formal demand sent to a debtor stating the amount due, the contract or invoices it arises from, the proof you hold, and the time within which payment must be made. It is sent on the record, usually by registered post and email, so that service can be proved later if it has to be.
It does two things. It frequently gets paid, because the debtor is now looking at a documented claim rather than another follow-up call. If it is not paid, it becomes the first document in the file for whatever follows: a civil or summary suit, a commercial court claim, insolvency proceedings against a company, or arbitration where your contract provides for it.
We review your invoices, ledger, purchase order and correspondence before drafting, so the notice states a figure you can prove rather than one that can be argued down. The notice is drafted by our in-house team, approved by you, and dispatched with proof you keep.
