About this service

A proprietorship is not incorporated anywhere. It becomes real through the registrations you take in the business name.

A sole proprietorship has no separate legal existence from you. Your PAN is the business PAN, its income is your income, and you carry unlimited liability for its debts. In exchange, it is the cheapest and fastest structure to start, with no annual filings with the Registrar of Companies.

Because there is no incorporation certificate, banks and customers look at other proof: GST registration, an Udyam (MSME) certificate, or a Shop and Establishment licence from your state. Which of these you need depends on your turnover, your state and whether you sell goods or services. Most banks want at least two before opening a current account.

We work out the right combination for your business, file the applications in your name, and skip the ones you do not need. You get the certificates, a business name you can bank with, and a plain note on what has to be renewed and when.
