Offer Letter Drafting

An offer letter is the first written record of what you promised a candidate. We draft one that states the role, the pay and the terms plainly, so nothing is argued later.

About this service

Most hiring disputes start with an offer letter that left something unsaid.

An offer letter records the designation, reporting line, joining date, work location, compensation and the conditions attached to the offer. It is usually the document a candidate relies on when resigning from an existing job, so it has to be accurate about the pay structure and about anything that can withdraw the offer.

It is also where the basic terms of employment are set: probation and confirmation, notice period, confidentiality, ownership of work, and what happens if background verification fails. Written loosely, these clauses are hard to enforce. Written too harshly, they can be struck down as an unreasonable restraint.

We draft on your letterhead, in your words, for the role you are actually hiring for. Our in-house team puts in a clean CTC break-up, a workable probation and notice clause and the confidentiality terms that suit your business. You get an editable file you can reuse for similar roles.
