About this service
A company that has share capital cannot legally begin business or borrow money until it files Form INC-20A.
Section 10A of the Companies Act, 2013 applies to every company incorporated on or after 2 November 2018 that has share capital. Before it starts any business activity or exercises borrowing powers, a director must file a declaration confirming that each subscriber to the memorandum has paid the value of the shares agreed to be taken.
The declaration is filed in Form INC-20A within 180 days of incorporation, supported by proof that the subscription money has actually reached the company's bank account. The form has to be certified by a practising chartered accountant, company secretary or cost accountant, so it is not a filing you can complete on your own.
Our in-house team checks your bank credits against the subscribed capital, flags any shortfall before filing rather than after, arranges professional certification, and files the form on the MCA portal using your director's digital signature. You get the filed form and the acknowledgement for your records.
