Change of Registered Office

Along with the registered office, the company may have an administrative office, Corporate Office or a branch office or factory, etc., but it is the registered office of a company that should be registered with the Ministry of Corporate affairs. All the other offices or the additional locations can be opened by the company and there is no intimation to the ROC.

Section 12 of The Companies Act makes it mandatory for every company to maintain a registered office at all times and in case of changes the same should be reported to ROC by filing the appropriate form.
