About this service

Form ADT-1 is the intimation a company files with the Registrar of Companies after appointing its statutory auditor.

Under the Companies Act, 2013, every company must have a statutory auditor. The first auditor is appointed by the Board shortly after incorporation. After that, the auditor is appointed by the members at the annual general meeting, usually for a term of five years, and the company intimates the Registrar in Form ADT-1.

The form itself is short, but it has to match the paperwork behind it. The auditor's written consent and eligibility certificate, the correct resolution, the firm registration number and the exact period of appointment all need to line up, or the filing is liable to be rejected.

We handle the whole appointment, not just the upload. Our in-house team drafts the board or AGM resolution, checks the auditor's consent and eligibility letter, prepares ADT-1, gets it signed with your director's DSC and files it. You get the filed form and the challan for your records.
